I made a GIMP bmp image, and it dose not seem to appear in my import list! What have I done wrong?

Um never mind this question. The creator has already solved this delema. If you are a first time GIMP editor, and do not know how to make a working GIMP picture well there is a page somewhere that says so, but for the sake of OHHRPGCE users out their I will help!

1. Right click your image

2. Select the image tab

3. In the image select the mode tab

4. Click the indexed option

5. Click the "Generate optimum palette"

6. Change the "Maximim number of colors:" to six-teen no more no less. Keep image as RGB for backgrounds or tile imports.

7. Convert

8. Now save it, name it, but before doing so put [.bmp](remove the brackets) at the end of the name

9. And last import it to OHRRPGCE, remember the pallette though!
