Why not re-write the OHRRPGCE in Python?

When the OHRRPGCE was first started back in 1997 on a 486/33 running DOS, Python wasn't really an option.

There actually is an effort underway to convert/re-write the OHRRPGCE into the Python language. The project is called Jormungand, and you can read more about it on the OHRRPGCE Source Ports page
