BAM format is no longer the preffered music format. BAM is still supported, but MIDI is a better choice

A list of sound cards, and whether or not they work with the old-style BAM music played by old DOS versions of the OHRRPGCE is available at: http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/soundcardcompat.html

The current version works with any sound card.
