Why not re-write the OHRRPGCE in ...?

The OHRRPGCE is written in Microsoft QuickBasic 4.5. As such, porting the code to other languages/platforms can be difficult. Directly porting the code is only possible with other BASIC dialects. Currently, the prefered such dialect is FreeBasic, whose syntax is based on QuickBasic.
Porting the OHRRPGCE to other languages, such as C++ or Python, is more like a re-write than a port. Unless you are personally willing to do the work to port the OHRRPGCE to your favorite language, please don't ask.
