Will you ever make a Linux version? Macintosh? BeOS?
From OHRRPGCE-Wiki
[edit] Yes
Yes, starting with the serendipity release, the OHRRPGCE runs on Linux. It has been tested on Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora and others. It should run on any Intel/x86 distribution of Linux. FreeBasic can also compile for FreeBSD, but this is apparently incomplete, and for the XBox.
[edit] Except
The OHRRPGCE is compiled in FreeBasic which has not yet been ported to Macintosh, BeOS, or any non-x86 versions of Linux.
Future versions of FreeBasic will use the gcc backend, which could allow the OHRRPGCE to be compiled on any platform gcc supports (most things under the sun).
However, compiling it is not the whole story. The OHRRPGCE uses several external libraries which may or may not be available on other platforms. If they aren't, then work must be done to choose an alternate library, and write wrapper code, etc etc.
[edit] Also...
A DOS version of the OHRRPGCE is still available, so you can run it in a DOS emulator like DosBox, but unfortunately it is rather slow.
The OHRRPGCE is also known to work in DosEmu and on Virtual PC for the Macintosh.
